The most common reason for failure on Atkins is trying to do low fat at the
same time as low carb. Fat suppresses appetite. (Protein does too, but I
think fat does it more.)
Another cause seems to be that other diets teach that certain carbs are good
and I think it leads to the dieter eating too many carbs, triggering more
appetite.
I know this is a low carb group not an Atkins group, but that is my
perspective.
