Carol’s Spicy Shrimp Salad
1 pound large precooked shrimp, tails removed
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup celery, diced
1/2 cup red onion, diced
1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
1 teaspoon Frank’s Red Sauce (optional)
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, mix well, chill before serving.
Great alone, over salad greens or inside low carb pita bread. Serves 3-4.
4 Grams Carbs per 4 ounce serving.
Beware of prepared Shrimp Salads from a grocery store, deli, or restaurant.
Many are made with carbohydrate packed dressings and boast up to 30 grams of carbohydrates per 3 1/2 ounce serving.
