Hi everybody. I am a physician in my early 30's that is about to quit
medicine. Last year I took another paycut (the 5th straight year) and
my tort premiums went up, so I have decided to do something different.
Currently, I am wrapping up an LPN degree and also looking for work in
the medicolegal field.
Besides having a perosnal interest in legal medicine, I also desire a
better lifestyle and less daily hassle with no calls or deep-seated
worries. I have never been sued, never lost any license or never faced
any other discilpinary actions. I am still board-certified and intend
to keep up with the academic "guidelines" so I can feel comfortable
with this new field. I intend to quit entirely as soon as I can find a
good job.
Could anyone give me any advices what to do next?
Thank You for this important forum..
