If the lead was measured in the blood in 2004 - it may or may not be that a blood test would reveal that now. If that is the case - its quite likely that the lead is still in the body.  The lead goes into other places like the bones.
 
If you were able - Dr Natasha Campbell McBride - practices in england. She know about heavy metals and special needs in children. Her own son was autistic. She used a special diet to cure him. She now helps others along this path.  Her book Gut and Physcology Syndrome gives a very good picture on how food can help chelate in the body. She is a qualified doctor and neurologist.

hi can anyone help me with some information please in 2004 my daughter who was 4 yrs old was diagnosed with elevated lead levels they were at 38 she is 8 years...
