Re: [LandauKleffnerSyndrome] Keppra

Thats incredible, I hope she continues improving. Good luck, and Happy Birthday Kyra! I hope and pray that it gives my son some kind of improvement.

we're doing a keppra (1000 mg day) and lamictal (50 mg day) combination.  We've seen a huge improvement, the side effects were minimal.  My only problem is she is so incredibly hyper when she wakes up in the morning, until we can get her focused enough to take her meds....

She has relearned the ABC's, started singing nursery rhymes, and now we're starting letter sounds and counting to 20....numbers are a struggle.

We've not used depakote yet, but we are doing a keppra/zarontin combo.  We've seen cognitive improvement & the side effects were temporary.

Has anyone used depikote and Keppra and if so did you have good
results. We have not yet used two drugs together and are going to
start. Thanks Beverly Goulet- Bay City, MI.
