I spoke with Mary Beth today and heard that the Public Library isn't willing to
let you use their
space after all. That's okay. You probably would have outgrown that little room
in no time.
So, for those of you in Decorah, might I suggest the following places:

• Churches (Cindy's a member of Decorah Lutheran and they've got a big
fellowship hall)

• Luther College campus (they have so many spaces that they might be happy to
give you a
space to use regularly, though parking is an issue for the townspeople coming
in)

• Restaurants (Mabes has a basement they aren't always using)

• Hotel Winneshiek (I have no idea if they'd go for it, but wouldn't the lobby
or the ballroom
upstairs be a beautiful place to meet? And there's adequate parking.)

Please post other ideas if you have them so that our Decorah folks can think
this through
creatively.
