Hi Laughers,
I just wanted to say sorry about that spam you received about "Disease N Cure"
from this group. The spammer infiltrated our group but I have now banned that
address and this will hopefully keep us safe from such e-mails in the future. :)
How are you all doing? I know we are busy but how is the laughter yoga going?
Are you doing any interesting work with it? Do you have any great ideas or
questions to discuss with us? Please take a moment to post your thoughts.
I have been doing some interesting laughter work lately. I had a fantastic time
with a group of over 100 church women at a Lutheran gathering last week in
Rushford, MN. They nearly laughed themselves off their pews. I also did a
church retreat at Sugar Creek Bible Camp last weekend for the UCC church of
LaCrosse, Wisconsin. What an incredible group of women that was! Everyone needs
more laughter and it is a joy to be able to bring it to them through laughter
yoga. Also, my church had it's third annual "Holy Hilarity Sunday" celebration.
I'll be posting a blog about that soon. If you haven't yet subscribed to my
blog, I encourage you to do so. It is at http://laughingwithlaura.blogspot.com
New Laughter Exercises:
Silly Walk Laughter - Do the silliest walk you can while laughing!
I Just Took a Bite Laughter - Pretend you just took a big bite of food and
someone has asked you a question but you can't really speak because your mouth
is so full--try to chew it and laugh!
I'm Melting Laughter - Pretend to be the wicked witch of the west from Wizard of
Oz and do the melting scene while laughing.
You make a difference! You light the world with your joyful presence. Be
laughter.
Laughingly,
Laura
