I dedicate our LWLupus home page as a memorial to co-founder Sharon Sanders. Sharon was co-founder of this group for over 9 years. Sharon was more than a support group co-founder. She was our sister in Lupus, a wonderful, kind, sharing friend. Sharon was always there to help others struggling through their own personal battle with Lupus. Over the years I don't think we can count the number of people that were helped by Sharon's loving nature, her positive attitude and her willingness to greet each person that walked through our doors. Due to severe health problems and the loss of her husband George, Sharon gave up her position as moderator, but remained one of my closest friends. Sharon left this world and went to be with her Lord and to reunite with George on August 19, 2008. May God watch over her for us. We are all blessed, knowing that Sharon is out of pain now and she is in finally set free. We will miss her and the work she has done to help support others with Lupus as well as her devoted work in promoting Lupus awareness. Fly with the angels Sharon. We love you and we will miss you but are at peace in knowing you have been released from your pain.
