Dear Susan
Hang on to your mind..as you are not loosing it. I have lead poisoning and have been chelating since Nov. 2006 and am on my 32nd chelation. The clinic I go to runs a test after every ten chelations to see how the cleansing is going. The test results comes back with all heavy metals and essential elements listed on the results. It does includes mercury. The reference range for mercury is below 4 ug/g ( I have no clue what 'ug/g' is). Although I am chelating for lead....my mercury was at 2ug/g when I started, then after 10 chelations, it went to 1 and then after the next 10, went to 0.3. I am waiting for the results of the 10 I just finished. So.....chelation with EDTA does effect mercury and the 'acceptable' reference range is much lower than your doctor thinks it should be.
hope this helps.
