Hi Susan and Susan,
Great to hear of your success with EDTA chelation. I have now done 38 and have moved to monthly maintenance. There was another man in the clinic who also worked with leadlight and he has had a number of treatments over the years. I found that after my first chelation my irritability declined as the brain fog lifted. What made me even more irritable was getting a diagnosis from an ignorant doctor of bipolar which seems to be the catch all when a doctor hasn't got an answer. What was the challenge test you had and how does it compare with hair analysis?
I had 2 mg of lead per 100 mg of hair at the last reading - the highest the practitioner had seen. I consulted the lab asking if there could be an error and they suggested I send in a sample of my pubic hair for comparison. Sure enough it came in at 1.4 mg / 100 mg hair and confirmed the result. Refer the original scalp hair analysis. I posted this in files on this group in Mar 07.
It is interesting to note how the lead result initially dropped and then went up during chelation.
· 0.7 mg / 100 mg hair before I started chelation on May 7 th 2006
· 0.2 mg / 100 mg hair on Nov 7 th 2006 after 20 chelations
· 2.0 mg / 100 mg hair on Feb 27 th 2007 after 30 chelations
I am yet to have another test. It seems to me that the hair test shows how the lead has been mobilised by EDTA chelation. I feel so much better and it will be interesting to see what the next one brings. Remember it is lead in the organs that is the problem not lead in the hair.
I feel like a new man. I am 59 yrs old. I suspect that the lead had resulted in my spiritual life being depressed and I found that getting the lead out has been coincidental and even possibly a result of me "seeing the light" and getting baptised in July 2004. I am sure that wellness involves physical, emotional and spiritual healing. There were a lot of tears and introspection until I finally pulled out of it and following that break through I had a high lead content in my hair analysis. It was almost as if lead was somehow involved in the bondage I was in before getting `free'. Strange but true for me. - Now that is a personality change for an engineer like me.
I was also put through severe trauma in 1971 when I was mis-diagnosed as schizophrenic affective and given electric shock treatment which for those that know about it it is state inflicted trauma. (Clearly an error as I have worked for 33 years as an engineer since without medication and without a problem. The doctor who did it to me was subsequently reprimanded for excessive use of ECT). I got my records under the freedom of information act and found out how I had been abused and traumatised. Coming to terms with that has coincidently also been resolved as the lead has come out. May be lead is involved with post traumatic stress which I clearly suffered from. We (and the medical profession) know so little.
If anyone came to me as an engineer and suggested that he fix my computer by putting 240 volts in the USB port I would sack him as having the mind of an 8 yr old. Passing 10,000 time the normal voltage across the temples of human and call it treatment shows a similar mentality. It is subconscious torture that has to be dealt with by the person at some stage. I know I have had to deal with the known after effect of post traumatic stress that can be delayed for as long as 30 years. I was never tested for toxic metals and on each occasion I have had difficulty it has followed a recent exposure to those toxins and yet I was never tested for the same.
Cheers Doug
