RE: [LPAE] (unknown)

Here are 3 fairly recent articles about lead in adults I thought you might find interesting. It is always challenging to follow the details of the study, but the background info and discussions are often most helpful.

Hi Susan P.
I had no heart pain...just fast irregular beat.  When I told the cardiologist, after  injecting dye into my heart to see if there were any clogged arteries (they were clear) what my lead content was....he replied "Oh that could effect your heart.  We don't test for lead any more".
As my lead content decreases, my heart beat gets slower and more regular. On the "Lead Poisoning Newsroom" website, one of the 'health effects of lead exposure  was 'chronic lead poisoning may also be associated with myocarditis, characterized by chest pains (angina pectoris saturnia) tachycardia (fast heart rate) ventricular gallop, pulmonary congestion, hypertension, ST-T abnormalities and premature ventricular contraction on the ECG.'
I am praying that when my count is where it should be, my heart stuff and weakness in my leg muscles will subside.  I haven't found any thing that says that effects are reversible anywhere.... very frustrating.
I started taking Chlorella about a month ago on the advise of a friend who is also dealing with lead poisoning.  I am attaching some info just in case you'd be interested.  It's pretty gentle and gives me some nice energy while not effecting my heart rate and is detoxing me at the same time.  http://www.healingd aily.com/ oralchelation/ health-benefits- of-chlorella. htm
Take care
Susan

Hi Susan B.

How did you determine the lead effects were in your heart?  After a couple of severe heart pains and an abnormal echo test and a catheterizing procedure which showed no abnormalities, my doctor determined I had diastolic heart dysfunction.  He based this on my age, which is now 70, but the symptoms started 10 years ago. I think it is from lead.   My lead levels have bounced up and down from 48 in 2006 down to 8 and now back at 66.

My current doctor has put me on MetallClear, which he uses with his autistic children.  We are going to try it for one month and if there is not significant improvement; I guess it is back to EDTA or DMSA.    Any ideas anyone.  I do not smoke.
