Hello Susan,
My sister lived below a battery plant that used an unlined lagoon to
handle the wastes that they dumped every day. I babysitted her 3
children in the evenings and on the weekend so she and her husband
could work. So, I was at their home all the time. We didn't find out
about the contamination until after she had sold the house.
It was almost 30 years later, that we found out that the house was
destroyed because of the poisons. The house literally rotted and was
demolished, and 4 inches of dirt was dug up from the yard :(
The company in question bought the house and tried to destroyed the
evidence. That's how crooked they are.
We were advised to go to New York to Mt. Sinai Medical Center to have
x-ray K-florescent bone tests done. My test showed I was exposed to
pcb,s. lead, mercury, cadmium and some other poisons I can't remember
the names for. After 30 years, I still have 30% of the poisons in my
bones.
We tried to sue the company but couldn't get a qualified experienced
attorney to handle our case, so it's still in court. We are trying to
find another attorney to take our case...
My pain is in my arm where they took the cancer out. I guess it is
just going to take some time for it to heal...I hope you can get
relief from your pain soon :( I totally understand how you feel...
God Bless,
Carol
