As all of you know, dealing with metal toxicity is a day by day struggle, and there are other health problems that normally go along with that.

I have lead, mercury and copper poisoning.  Starting in Sept of 2006 I began EDTA IV 's and did about 56.  My levels went up and down and up and down, but I am much better than I was that summer of 2006.  The body burden of lead was reduced , but the lead in my bones will take years to eliminate and I also need to address the mercury and copper problem.

In January 2008 I began a new protocol using DMSA and ALA in very low and frequent doses.  I took the information I had, to my doctor and she agreed to follow my progress, write the scripts I needed and do lab tests, frequently.  The protocol was written by Andrew Cutler and it seems to work.

These are the websites that deal with chelation, and also thyroid, adrenal , hormone, many other issues and autism.   There are some extraordinary people contributing to these sites and although most do not agree with EDTA if you have mercury, they will give you information, support, what ever you need and without judgment as to what treatment you decide on.   They have been an answer to my prayers.

adult-metal-chelation      They are all yahoo health groups.

There are thousands of chronically ill children and adults who have seen dozens of doctors and still are unable to participate in life.  These groups know more than any doctor I have ever seen.
