Having problems with message search?
When I started I tried going twice a week. That left
me chair bound and just feeling really rotten most of the time. I only
did that for a month. Then figured it wasn’t worth it. I
really needed to feel good at some point in the week. Granted…then,
I was feeling pretty good by day six in the ‘chelation week’ just
to start again the next day with chelation. One of my biggest complaints
was the redistribution factor. My doc told me the EDTA can carry
just so much metal although it mobilizes whatever is in your system. The redistribution
of the stuff that can’t be flushed out makes my legs muscles just
ache. Recovery has gotten shorter and shorter, though. Now I can have
chelation and the next day…a wee bit of ‘green-ness’ (not
feeling really chipper) but it passes pretty quickly now. I try to drink
more than usual distilled water the day before chelation and a bunch that day
as well. That seems to really really help. My memory is much
better. The fog seems to have lifted although the short term is a bit sporadic.
I don’t know whether that is lead or age!

I just got back from my weekly chelation treatment. It always
leaves me feeling pretty wiped out for a couple days. When I first
started it took me a week to recover. Just in time for the next
treatment, lol. I am hoping that my memory returns to normal or close
pretty soon. How often are you cheated?

The feeling better thing has been a real gradual incline. Beside the symptoms you listed, my heart has been effected and the muscles in my thighs have weakened. I started out at 140 ug/g (parts per million?) Considering below 3 ug/g would be acceptable, I guess I was pretty saturated. Even with 55 chelations, I’m still at 44 ug/g. It was explained to me that there is just so much EDTA in the solution and can only grab so much metal during one chelation. The remaining metals play havoc trying to ‘relocate’ themselves after the chelation has left some clean areas. I get tested after every 10 chelations. The results went from 140 to 41…spiked back up to 89, then down to 40 and up to 44. The spike to 89 was just my body releasing more lead out of the bones, where it is absorbed by the body. The arsenic in my system did the same thing.
My heart was beating at 160 bpm and landed me in the hospital…before I knew about the lead. So anything that was done was a moot point. The heartbeat is down in the low100’s high 90’s now but still needs to beat 15per minute beats slower. The muscles in the legs are getting stronger and my stamina is returning in the last 6 months epically. It is a long slow road…but I got this way over a long period of time.
I am 58 and I know this whole ordeal has redirected my life.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer (DCIS) in 2006. The doctor (MD) that gave me the diagnosis wanted to do a modified radical mastectomy (remove left breast but leave lymph nodes) That seemed pretty radical to me since there are some who believe that DCIS is not actually cancer (yet).
After considerable research I had a lumpectomy but was hesitant to do 6 weeks of radiation therapy. I was enrolled in a clinical trial at and backed out at the last minute. I was searching hard for any information and I found a N.D that was into alternative treatments. Long story shortened, he tested me for heavy metal toxicity. He suspected it because of many symptoms including borderline chronic kidney disease, high blood pressure, fatigue, depression, memory problems, and on and on. Stanford University
I am 60 years old, grew up in a coal mining community, lived all over the and several 3rd world countries. I would have to get my test results out and look at them but I tested high for arsenic, lead, mercury and a couple of other things. I worked as a vet tech also and was exposed to a lot of chemicals over the years. At this point we don't know where I got them. West US
I drive 75 miles for my chelation and I need to be there by 8:30 tomorrow morning. I am going to ask my doctor how long he thinks it will take to get me clear.

Hi Margaret. I have lead poisoning and have been doing IV chelation
for the past 15 months to become clean. I have done 55 chelations
so far and am feeling much, much better as each day goes by. How
were you diagonsed and what symptoms did you have that lead you to
know it was metal toxins??And how did you get poisoned? I am a
stained glass artist of 24 years, hense my exposure to lead was
daily. Even though I did perodic blood tests, I was unaware of
the 'body burden' and the urin test after chelation that showed how
much my body had absorbed. I am so interested in how others have
faired through this whole thing.
