Melinda Conner, Ph.D (NIH t32 fellow to the program of integrative
medicine in Tucson), Dr. tom Firor, and Michal Levin (former BBC
health news anchor) are doing a professional skills course on
Saturday night: Toward a generic set of professional guidelines for
all healers.

Also, for the second year in a row, a Friday full day elective
workshop choice will be a research symposium (see conference
schedule at www.issseem.org).

As usual, the issseem conference will be one of contrast and
comparison.

Elucidating and expanding upon the need for professional guidelines
in the healing arts, to us, was a self evident idea for a project.
We also believe that issseem is a particularly important forum for
this presentation at this juncture.

I found and excellent definition of the wellness milieu from a
student at the University of California in Los Angeles. It is
apropos and well worth the reading time, although he overlooks one
