Welcome to LDS WoW Talk. We are a group of LDS people seeking for the additional blessings promised in the Word of Wisdom found in Doctrine & Covenants section 89. We want to "run and not be weary" and "walk and not faint" as well as "find wisdom and great treasures of knowledge, even hidden treasures." In order to do this we are reducing our consumption of meat and enjoying "all wholesome herbs," "every fruit in the season thereof" and grain which is ordained to be the "staff of life."

Come join us and let's discuss how to transition from the standard American diet to one which is more in tune with the Word of Wisdom. We can share recipes, encouragement, and ideas for handling social occasions.

We're not promoting any extreme ideologies or positions. We think that a gradual journey down the middle of the road is probably the best way to get from here to there. By small and simple means are great things brought to pass.
