Microboard and Cooperatives Session - sponsored by "Managing the Art
of Living," a project of the Illinois Council on Developmental
Disabilities

Microboards: This session will cover what a Microboard is and is
not, an overview of the process used to help individuals and their
families create Microboards, examples of Microboard success stories,
pitfalls that Microbards can avoid in order to prosper, and how to
get involved in the Managing the Art of Living project.

Cooperatives: This session will cover what a Human Serves
Cooperative is, what it means to be a member of a HSC ® Cooperative,
what other HSC ® Cooperatives are doing, the proven steps to set up a
HSC ® Cooperative and how governing your own company gives you choice
and power over services and your life.
