Sensory Processing and Your Family

Tuesday, July 7th 2009 7:15pm

In this presentation, the audience will learn about both typical and disordered sensory processing in children.  This will include a practical discussion of the seven areas of sensory processing, and how these skills can impact daily functioning at home, school, and in the community.  The presenters will also provide important red flags that indicate sensory processing deficits, potentially warranting intervention.  Finally, easy to use tips and activities that your family could initiate today to compensate for sensory processing difficulties will be shared and discussed.
