Thank you so much for responding to my message.  How old was your daugter when she was first diagnosed with a latex allergy?  Also, does she have any other allergies or has she had any surgeries?  I was just asking this because my son has been perfectly healthy with no problems except for this allergy.  He was a year old when he first broke out with hives after putting an eraser in his mouth.  He was diagnosed just recently at age 2 after I thought he was choking and doing everything I could to help him until he threw up and then he was still choking.  He threw up again and then he was okay.  When I took off his shirt he had hives on his back.  It was then that the Dr. did a rast test and it came back as type 1 medium latex allergy. Has your daughter ever had a severe reaction?  I would appreciate any help you can give me.
