Hello I'm new here. I wish I didn't have to come here but not only am
I LA so is my daughter. In fact she was born with it. I wish there
was something that we could do to make people more aware of us people
who suffer from this problem. I mean people using the latex gloves
for things like food preparation, people using them to develope film,
using them in the meat department at stores. These are just a few
places that use them. I read that in some states they have passed
laws making places put up signs stating they use latex. I wish they
would do this in every state. The problems is no one knows who to
talk to get this type of law passed. I mean we should be warned that
clothing such as undergarments & pantyhose have latex. Does any one
know how we can get this law passed all over the US? I have called my
local reps. but they can't do anything until the year 2003. I said in
the mean time me or someone else could dye waiting for the state of
Texas to do something. I have talked to someone from Consmuer
protection agency I was told it isn't up to them to do anything. All
they take care of is if clothing are firesafe or not.
