Hi all,
I am new to this list. I have finally found a Specialist doctor who
is sorting out my allergies...and I have joined FCMYI@egroups.com
The Specialist Allergist is going to patch test me soon as well.
He has also ordered a few blood tests.
I have previously had scratch tests and know I am allergic to cats,
rabbits, dogs, guinea-pigs, grasses, pollens, house-dust mites,
cockroach dirt and Grevillea plant. So I am one allergic-type
person!!!
I have just started on an elimination diet and am already discovering
some trigger factors in food. My dermatitis is healing, but i am also
not using latex gloves atm.
I am also a Med Lab Scientist and have had trouble with latex in
gloves aggravating dermatitis on my hands.
I also have trouble if I use rubber gloves to wash-up.
We also use gloves more and more in my children's school canteen,
when we are preparing food. Plastic alternative gloves they have are
anoption, but these are not so well-fitting.
I believe there is some alternative to latex gloves????
