Just recieved all the emails today monday.
Maryland Hospitals are quite progressive especially University of Maryland
where the infamous shock trama is and several other hospitals in the area.
The neat thing is that they still use latex gloves for janitoral duties.
Now for PA where I live now. Forget latex free. Been to about 20 doctors in
4 months none recognize latex as a severe problem. They still won't remove
gloves from exam rooms, and forget finding one to take my BP.. I finally
started refusing to have my bp taken and I allow them the opportunity to come
up with methods to work with me. I feel I live back in time about 30 years.
I had a proceedure done last week where the doctor utilized 1% latacain to
numb the area......after about 16 shots of it he admited he usually uses 2%.
And was sorry for the pain. Thanks... right?
New item went to have vehical repaired this weekend. Watch out machanics
are useing latex gloves working on cars and trucks now. This includes the
paperwork. I even mentioned that latex maufactures don't recommend using
latex with petroleum products, they didn't care I was just taking up his time
since I would allow him to run up my bill with needless repairs. He didn't
realize up until this allergy I did all my own work.
Another spot realized this weekend toll collectors are using latex gloves to
collect money. interesting.
Well off of here talk at you all later
