-Congrats on your victory!! Hope the rest of your fight goes
as well. I'm an RN and am very thankful to work in a latex safe
hospital. I only wish more hospitals would make the change to nitrile
or vinyl.

Hi baileemoose...
You can bet this is not over...  I will be talking to an attorney (a mediator, judge) regarding the two doctors that refused lifesaving treatment/surgery for my Dad.  This is not over until the fat lady sings and she ain't even humming yet... lolol
I am glad that so many hospitals have stepped up and are now getting rid of those stupid gloves.  I am still fighting a few in my area.  I had surgery at the same hospital I had surgery at in December.  No severe reactions back then, but had a awful time in May and again this past Monday.  They performed a blood gas on me.  Went into both wrists.  They hurt so bad, the nerve pain is awful.  Everyone is telling me there was no test run during my surgery.  I am waiting for a call back to see if the director of outpatient surgery is going to lie to me too.  I hate it when they do that.  I had to react during surgery for them to stick me in both wrists...  Why not just tell me the truth for once?
Well, hope all is Ok and the reactions are low...  TTFN
Take Care & Be Safe,
Trudy
