Hi Linda! I'm in Alabama, and no, I don't belong to a nursing association at present. I have had pretty bad reactions IN my allergists office, but no, he hasn't actually been present at one of the severe anaphylactic episodes I've had. I haven't talked with a lawyere because I can't afford to pay for one right now with my limited income, and I've only been able to see the allergists allowed by my insurance and my company since they are paying for my treatment related to the workman's comp claim.... Any suggestions? I don't know where else to turn. I've been offered a job recently with hospice, if my Dr will agree, but I can have allergic rx ANYWHERE!

Hey Debbie I was Dx in 95. I'm sorry to hear about
your problems associated with this allergy. I hope
you have a good Lawyer and suggest that you find a new
allergist. Has this allergist been present with your
episodes of anaphylaxis? What state are you in? I am
a client with Massachussett Rehabilitation I've been
with them on and off over the years trying to find
perspective work.. It's not easy. Do you belong to a
nursing association?
