I am so sorry to hear you had a bad reaction. When
were you Dx with the allergy? I was Dx in 1995. I
live in Massachusetts. If you can get on the web site
for the Massachusetts Nursing Association they have
information on latex. They also have a link to a bill
that was passed in Massachusetts reguarding food
handlers and gloves. I don't know what the laws are
in Washington regarding food handlers and latex.
Unfortunately people are lead to believe the only safe
product is latex. Well hand washing, and other
appropriate gloves would alleviate this problem. Have
you checked on any of the latex allergy links?
