Hi Lisa,
Here is a partial list of links to lists:

* Latex-Food Cross-reactivity
brief chart includes newer discoveries than Greer list
http://www.allergyclinicsanmarcos.com/food_latex_cross.html

***Latex-Allergic People Cross-React to Many Plants *************
Beyond the Greer list!!!! Covers a lot of spices, cannibus,
peppermint, bamboo etc. as of 2004
http://dmd.nihs.go.jp/latex/cross-e.html

Allergenic Cross Reactivity of Latex and Foods List- "the Greer List"
A chart by Greer Labs of Latex Cross Reactive foods and their degree
of association to latex as of 2000, more has been discovered since
then and some have moved up in degree of association, many additional
plants are cross-reactive.
http://www.latexallergylinks.org/GreerLabs.html

Basically...you will want to pay attention to any food that causes an
oral itch, makes your lips or throat swell or breathing tight or
causes flushing or puffiness in your face or gives you a rash. The
main ones that most latex allergic people avoid are bannanna,
avacado, chestnut, kiwi, tomatoe, raw potatoe, others affect a
smaller percentage of latex allergic people...melon (including
squash), carrot, celery, peppers, vegetable gums, spices, stone
fruits (cherry, peach, plum), tree nuts, peanuts, I'm sure I forgot
a few, but check out the links above. There are other things that
aren't on any of the lists yet like aloe, flax, food storage mites,
nickel, dandelions, poinsetta, ficus, grass, which we know through
comparing notes in groups like this then seeking out the individual
research studies. It is not uncommon to become suddenly very
allergic to one or more foods after onset of latex allergy. This is
why we carry epi, sometimes it's not a latex exposure but a cross-
reactive that causes the more severe reaction. Heather
