I'm suffering from latex allergy.

I'm recently off work, filing for workers comp and disability.
In the last 12 months of my "new career" that I dreamed of doing all
my life at age 38 was the last thing I thought would happen to me.

I started my new job, loved every miniute of it than became very ill
each day that passed.

Blaming my hormone pills I was taking from having a hysterectomy two
months prior to the start of my new job.

I felt as if something was weighting me down. major fatigue,
sneezing, slight cough, that turned into a major horse cough, itchy
face and hands, swelling of my hands and lips. These symptoms got
worse over time.
My physician who would ajust my premarin was very patient and am sure
in a tail spin at all my complaints. What made me think it was my
medication was the fact that now my voice was distorted. My co-
workers said I sounded like my voixe was turning into a sexy manly
voice. Well, of course, who wouldn't think it was realted to
hormores? I was off work at the first of the year and realized my
symptoms were subsiding, and I was still on the hormones. I told my
doctor about this and he sent me to an allergist.

I left work on march 9th at lunchtime. My throat, face and lips were
swelling, not able to talk or breath. My face and neck looked like I
had second degree burns.

I have to go for now....I basically want to take this time to
introuduce myself to the grp.

I look forward to hearing others experiences to know I'm not alone in
this terrible situation.
