I am not sure what to tell you as I am just new to the realities of Natural Rubber Latex allergy. I have not been tested but am thinking of having the test. I hope you are able to figure something out soon! I want to suggest you try another list so email me privately ok?

Hey,
I'm a nurse with a big problem. Lab tests are negative for latex
allergy but I have mild to moderate angioedema on contact, and react
to mulitple associated fruits and vegetables(carrot, bananna,
avacado, pear, cantelope, coconut, sage, grapefruit...). Skin prick
test is negative as is IGE for Latex. Use test brings on delayed
angioedema getting progressively worse over hours. A second use test
produced angioedema, a single sneeze then vomiting. I was getting
sick every time I went to work with nasal pain and swelling, then
hives a couple times now just angioedema and flushing occasionally
wheezing...It has been getting progressivley worse for three years
and I had acute shock once after eating out so I was pulled out of
work months ago. They won't let me return until I know what I'm
allergic to "so they can provide a safe work environment for me".
Specialists look at me and say it is not a typical reaction since I
don't get a rash. I sure would like to know where to turn for
intradermal testing in Northern California. Am I the only one they
are calling nuts? I also seem to have severe reactions to menthol
and peppermint...are these cross reactive protiens?
