or idea just because you are comfortable with it)
*cultivation of positive qualities (cultivating loving kindness,

REMOVE negative actions, ADD IN positive actions, TRY FOR YOURSELF
Note : the amount of merit generated is base on who is giving what
to whom.
3 things is important here.
*who (the giver is someone of intergity or positive character? with
what intentions is he
giving? and for what effect or wishes does he desire as a result of
such actions?generally
speaking giving from one with great merit, with no intentions of
return postive effects and have
positive desires for the better of others generates more good karma
by multipication effect)
*what (a poor man $5 may be everything he has but a rich man $1mil
is just a portion of his
wealth, is the object of great importance to the giver? is it easy
to obtain? a rich man might
find it easiler to give money instead of service? generally speaking
giving something that is
precious and needed to both parties generates more good karma by
multipication effect)
*whom (the reciever, is he someone who has overcome all desires and
attachment with great merit
or a poor, sick man with little merit, generally speaking giving to
one with lots of merit
generates more good karma by multipication effect)
