ConnectedText 

ConnectedText allows users to easily create wiki-style projects on
their desktop computers. This is a valuable tool for authors,
researchers, creators of help files or documentation, or other
projects where a large number of concise pieces of data need to be
organized and searched. ConnectedText requires the user to learn a
very simple markup language. Links, images, Flash animations,
categories, and lists of related topics can be added easily; tables
are sometimes a bit quirky to format. The program can search a page,
or the entire document, to find specific text, while the use of
categories and subcategories can organize data in a more structured
manner. Although the program is not designed to be run from a server,
it can export an entire project as HTML files which can then be
hosted.
