I have done the following:
1. Gone into IE6 and deleted the objects per yahoos' recommendation.
2. Uninstalled yahoo Messenger and ALL of yahoos components then emptyied the
recycle bin and rebooted. Then download the latest versions of Yahoo messenger
and reinstalled same. <Less companion> at least 4 times.
3. Downloaded and installed VM Diagnostics and tested IE 6.
4. Completely removed IE6 re-downloaded it and reinstalled same. <no
less than 5 times.
5. Rechecked objects in IE 6 and deleted same per Yahoo Help.
6. I have reset the security settings to default <and less> with no change.

I may have done other things as I have had this problem for over a year.
But the ones listed above are the ones I recall vividly.

P.S. today is not a good day for me to troubleshoot as it is 31 Jan here and I
have a huge Church function at the house this evening. We started making rice
cakes yesterday and sandwiches for distribution at the chapel this evening. We
have already started the butcher process on a large pig for this evening also.
Going to be a busy day.... Still have about 150 loafs of bread to make into
sandwiches. We can make arrangements to do yahoo IM Chat which does work.
kel1guy2002@... Local Priest arrives at 6 pm.. will be madness till then.

Hi there kelly try to rest all the securtiy settings in your internet browser
and then restart you computer and try to get into chat.. if that dose not work
email me direct and we will do this together with voice.. HAPPY NEW YEAR

As you can see..... this is what I get. I have tried for over a year to
correct this and have tried Re downloading Yahoo.. VM Diagnostics.. Everything
I can think of... Same stuff Diff day. You may recall I had commented I gave
up a long time ago trying to fix it.
