I was able to get a glucose reading from the list manager (you can't imagine
what getting even .2 ml of blood from a CPU is like) and discovered that not
only is it 'low' but that it also does NOT yet have an insulin pump.
Having an infinite supply of 'old' hardware, I wired it up with a Minimed
506 I had and now it seems to be much happier!!!
By the way: has anyone had any experience (first, second or even third hand)
with the new Minimed 512 (pump which talks to the meter).
I am very interested in the upgrade but only if at least one person can tell
me something other than 'it exists'.
Yerachmiel (who is ever on the bleeding edge of diabetic technology)
[who recently passed 21 years pumping && is still waiting for his 20 year
'pin', and who really wants a 25 year certificate like Joslin gives out (I'm
going to work on Minimed & see if we can't get this to happen)}
Yerachmiel bruchya (who apparently had far too little sleep last night)
