Hi Yehudit,
I have also been diabetic for a long time (18 years) and am also very pleased
with the control afforded by the insulin pump. I also started with a 507-C
and switched to the Paradigm a little over a year ago after the 507C came out
of warranty. I don't know anything about the Animas pumps, but I am very happy
with the Paradigm. The only slightly annoying thing about it is the small
reservoir size. Sometimes I can;t get through a full 3 days on 150 units.
Otherwise, I have absolutely no problems with it. The AAA battery is really
convenient and usually lasts more than one month. Plus, I find that Minimed's
customer service and support is really excellent.
Good luck with your decision!
