DLs tend to try to pull your arm out of the socket. The rotator cuff
rotates the arm, but it keeps it from falling off, too.

... rotator cuff ... take this ... I can't.. Unless it is causing pain when you dead.. Theres not a lot of rotation in the joint while deadlifting..besides...

DLs never bothered my shoulder problems (both rotator issues and impingement). I always thought of them as strengthening the shoulder/ beneficial. Of course...
