Yes Adam.. the subject of sugar/carbs/honey was discussed by this group once
before... of course I know there are newcomers from time to time and I am sure
that some postings are missed for one reason or another..Like being away on
vacation etc. etc.. My point is really quite simple in regard to honey...or
sugar... I don't think either one is "bad" except if you eat them in
excess...Unfortunately many processed foods/convenience foods have a lot of
sugar or simple sugars (glucose, fructose) as a basic ingredient. So if you
aren't aware of what you are eating..you will be ingesting lots of sugar as a
matter of your regular diet..but I don't see the sense in scrutinizing whether I
put a teaspoon of honey or a teaspoon of sugar in my tea/coffee...There is no
"real" difference between the two from a "health" standpoint..particularly if
you compare them a teaspoonful at a time...But I would definitely agree that you
should limit the amount of "sweets" that you consume.. just be aware that they
are put into so many types of food thast you may not know how much you are
eating daily if you haven't been reading ingredient labels... GaryE

Hmmm okay well fair enough Gary I was kinda guessing. I don't have much of
either to be honest. But to me at least, honey FEELS like it isn't as bad for
me as sugar. So if from nothing other than a mental standpoint i go for honey.
By the way did you mean we (as in you and me) or the group have had this
discussion before? OH either way it doesn't matter. I tend to discuss and
digest so much on here I have bucklies chance of remembering more than 10% of it
all.
Adam.
