Hi Deb. I'm doing really well now; had a couple of rough weeks in the beginning though. I've lost
all the weight I gained in the hospital, 26 lbs., I'm able to do two walks around my complex and
can do a flight of stairs without being winded. My left leg still hurts but is getting better daily.
I'm looking forward to starting rehab in two weeks so I should be fine to get to the Sept. meeting.
My daughter and son-in-law have taken wonderful care of me. This week I have been spending a
few hours at my house. Cindy brings me here around 10 a.m. and her husband picks me up on
his way home from work for dinner and to sleep. Hopefully, by the end of the week I will be
coming back home. I can finally shower by myself and my neighbors have told me they will
grocery shop for me until I can lift things.
Looking forward to seeing everyone in September!!
