Re: [InfectionAndInflammation2] Re: Fw: [InfectionAndInflammation] Eprosartan

Dear Penny
I stopped the Eprosartan  for   a number of reasons, I wasn't sure of the risks or the benefits and money was becoming a problem .
The dosage was 4 tabs a day to start lowering to 3  when I stabilised.
Boron I take by the simple expedient of wetting my fingertip and touching it to the surface of my jar of Borax ( sodium tetraborate) It apparently picks up about 30 mg which is considered a suitable maintenance dose by Rex Newnham. This man would appear to be the guru of boron and has published widely, a Google search will flood with good references . It tastes like sodium bicarbonate ( I had to add some acid to make sure it wasn't) and the toxicity is in the same range as common salt so there is an enormous safety margin.
Since I started on Boron my body temperature has normalised and I have stopped my thyroid supplements ( 10 mcg T3 and 50 mcg T4)
Regards
Richard Windsor

Dear Richard,

Thanks for sharing your experience with Eprosartan and abx. Very
informative. I'd like to give Eprosartan a try myself. Especially if
I could cut back on the dosage. Tony thought it was the best of all
the ARBs he tried.

What dosage were you taking? Why did you stop the Epro when you
stopped the abx?

I'm also going to reintroduce the B vitamins. Just need to get to
the store and buy some fresh. They really get yukky if left on the
shelf for a while.

How do you take the Boron?

penny

endurance from 10  to 15 minutes of hard physical labour  to 4 to 5
hours with overnight recovery. The problems arose once I introduced
Z into the program  , even on 60 mg every 14 days  I became totally
intolerant of mino and the Z reactions were  increasing in duration
exponentially. Unfortunately I was in such a position that I was
forced to stop the mino and Z and subsequently stopped all
Eprosartan as well. This was followed by a quick relapse to pre
Eprosartan days. I have since restarted supplements and have found a
lot of residual gains from the 6 months on Eprosartan. I have
discovered my absolute need for multi B s and particularly B12 and
Folic acid. I have also derived great benefit from  boron .
