Hi all,
I'm new here and can't tell how serious this group is but I wanted
to share my experience in the hope that it can help others.
Like many menopausal women, I suffer(ed) from stress and urge
incontinence. When I would cough or sneeze or even laugh I would
leak urine (sometimes a little, sometimes a lot) all over myself. I
had this after I gave birth too but it went away so I thought it
would go away this time too...but it didn't. After several years
and a lot of pads and dry cleaning and embarassing moments, I
finally talked to my dr about it. He basically told me that my only
options was surgery. Having had a very bad surgical experience in
the past, I wasn't about to have another operation without some
serious research.
In doing my research I came across a device which claimed to be able
to help me strengthen my pc muscles to the point that I wouldn't
need the surgery. I was skeptical but willing to try since the
surgery was such an unpleasant concept. I was a bit hesitant at
first because of the expense ($80) but I went ahead and tried it
since I realized that pads and/or surgery would eventually cost me
way more than that. IT WORKED!! After exercising for about 3.5
weeks, I stopped leaking completely. I can laugh and even go
running again. It's so, so wonderful that I had to share for anyone
having the same problem. The device is called the Kegelmaster
(didn't really like the name but hey, it worked). It's available
all over but I found the best deal at
http://www.informedchoiceproducts.com
I really, really recommend it for any woman suffering from stress or
urge incontinence. I'm happy to answer questions about my
experience using it so feel free to email me. I hope this email
helps at least one other person, then I'll feel I've done a good
thing.
Blessings to you all,
Tip
