Welcome, Cheryl Ann.  I'm a new kid on the block, too.  I've had some level of incontinence for 17 years and am currently OK during the day unless I have an infection but I pretty much wet the bed every night.  So discouraging. 

 

I'm also a large woman and I sleep on my side, so none of the traditional "garments" seem to work for me, and the disposable bed pads are not enough.  Even when I tape two together to make one larger pad, they leak.  The best solution I have found so far is the kid sheet protectors for twin beds.  I have old towels that I place on that for absorbancy.

 

I used to buy flannel-backed vinyl table cloth fabric, and there was one that I bought that stood up to YEARS of washing.... but have never found some that holds up since.  I go to the same fabric store, buy the stuff that LOOKS like what I had (tried some that didn't look like it, but it was worse) and costs the same, but it gets holes quickly :(  It was a cheaper alternative... $6.99 a yard and I could cut the pads to any size I liked.... but I'm now working on trying to get more kid bed wetting pads, but may try to get a script from my doc for medical ones if I can find larger ones.  The 24x30 and 30x36 just aren't large enough for me.  If I roll over, I'm off them!  That's my next quest... preferably with a local vendor who will take my Medicare.
