Thanks for the information Bill, I like the way you explained the story.

I wore these for an extended period of time just to see how effective they would be. They do seem to hold a lot for a normal days wear. But you have to understand they hold 10 or 15 pounds of urine etc after extended ware meaning securely fastened tapes are a must unless you don't mind them dropping off down your pant led. I was out and about running around most of the day. I do smear Johnson Baby Lotion on after showering after most changes so I seldom have a problem with a rash. I usually change after I get up after morning coffee and the news paper then again after noon then again around 6 PM then at bed time usually around 11 or 12 PM. About four products a day or about $5. The Wellness brand are more expensive than the others and one of there selling features is you can wear them for extended periods of time without changing and there fore the overall cost is lower. Two a day rather than the 4 or 5 a day like I use. Frankly I prefer
changing regularly and cleaning up than wearing for extended periods of time. And any time you wear a product for an extended period of time soiled you run the risk of skin irritation and rash and urinary tract infections all of which can be avoided with frequent changes and cleaning up with warm soap and water, I prefer Ivory soap and of coarse lotion.

Well, thanks for the knowlege about this particular brief. I was considering trying these because of the ability to wear for along time, though I don't have the time or patience to deal with the whole duct tape possible seneriol.
Also,I was hearing one could stay in the brief for a little more then 6 hours, and you said you stayed in it for 12 hours? How did you wear this for soo long and wet that much with out it tearing on you? I mean,I've worn hospitle briefs for up to 8 ours and they were soked, but 12 hours would also bring on a rash and would tear from the center point wiht all that useing in them, wouldn' t it?

I tried a sample pack "one Brief" and the lower tape broke loose from the plastic as I was putting it on. So I secured them with duct tape. They are nice and soft and comfortable and I wore the one for about 12 hours before changing. If the tapes would hold securely this would be a fantastic brief. Even though the plastic covering is nice and soft and flexible it does tear easily. This is a good diaper for someone that is not mobile and does not need the diaper securely attached or someone that doesn't mind using duct tape to secure there garment. I'm still using Secure and Bambinos which seem to be the two best products on the market right now. I've been wearing and trying various products now for a year since my radical prostectomy. Oh for comfort the ABRI -SAN X-PLUS pads are good and comfortable the wear in you regular underwear brief. To me they seem softer and more comfortable than the tape on and pull up briefs but can bunch up if you are out
and about and getting up and down often. Right now I'm spending about $140 a month for products "two cases" plus i experiment with new products as i see them. Just my two cents worth.
