I guess overactive bladder is what I've got. I'm in the UK, and I've
been to doctors and the way they put it is "Idiopathic Detrusor
Instability", but I think this is just different words for the same
thing. Certainly I have to pee more than 13 times a day, and things
like washing my hands or the sound of a tap running or all sorts of
things like that set me off suddenly wanting to pee in a terrific
hurry and often I cant hold it for even as much as a minute before I
pee uncontrollably. I guess it's right to say that if someone
suddenly finds that they start to go like that, they should go and
see a doctor, but they've got to accept that they could be told like
I was that there's nothing wrong so there's nothing to cure, and it
could well be something hereditary. Myself, I'm happier knowing that
I'm a healthy pisser than being told that I'm a pisser because I've
got some sort of disease. And as the article says, there's lots more
people like me.
