I've never thought catheterization was particularly painful,
either, even before I started doing it in-and-out, several
times daily some years ago. And Foleys actually are
reasonably comfortable after a very short time to adjust to
the sensation. Catheterization is easy to do.

Hmmmmm...... 12 MILIMETERS long? I suspect this is a major
typo..... (grin) What urethral surgery did you have and how
long will you be cathed?
