Dear all,
Last saturday the day had come: the day we were supposed to walk the 80 kilometers long Kennedymarch in Sittard. As we emailed you before, we were gonne walk this March as a fundraising event for the Vasa Previa Foundation.
Our initiative was also broadcasted in the Netherlands, on saturday by SBS6, a Dutch TV network and an article appeared in a Dutch newspaper: Westlandsche Courant.
It was a very heavy walk and it was not easy for us at all. But Julia has helped us through it, she lend us her wings when we needed them. We´re very happy and proud to announce that we walked the whole 80 kilometers, far within the 20 hours, in which we were supposed to finish. We started at 6 in the morning and arrove at midnight, exhausted but satisfied.
