Sophie's Walk 2007 is only 2 months away!!!!!!!!

Sophie's Walk for Vasa Previa will take place over the weekend of October 6-7 2007.  While we simply cannot accommodate any other dates, this year's Walk captains are free to choose to have their local Walk take place on either of these two days.  The International Vasa Previa Foundation will not sponsor walks that take place on any date other than October 6 or 7, 2007.

• Be sure to register for the walk!  Yes, even walk captains need to register so we can get the website updated.  Encourage your walkers to register as well.  If you know the details of your walk location, day, and time, let us know that too.
  
• If you live in the USA and need insurance for your walk, please contact SophiesWalk@... immediately or just reply to this message.
  
• If this is your first time hosting a walk, please send us your story so we can prepare it and other personalized materials for you.

Thank you for your interest in organizing Sophie's Walk in your area!  Your participation in this important fundraiser will help us achieve our goals. 

By the way, Sophie’s Walk desperately needs a couple of new volunteers to coordinate the walks, train and organize the walk captains, and make certain they get the materials necessary, most of which are already online.  PLEASE consider helping with this!  It is a big job, but not an unmanageable one. It is part time only, and is done and over within a couple of months.  Without new coordinators, Sophie’s Walk will be a thing of the past, and with it, a large portion of IVPF operating funds.
