Dear All
REMINDER: IVPF Education Committee Meeting - Sunday 9th April 2006 (2000hrs GMT)
This is a reminder to you all that a meeting of the IVPF Education Committee will take place, online in the IVPF Education Committee Meeting Room at 2000hrs GMT (to attend the meeting simply use this link http://IVPF.org/chat/education.htm and login - in the event of difficulties please contact me on: daren.samat@...). (Note: 2000hrs GMT is 2 pm CST)
Agenda:
I had intended to send you all a formal(ish) agenda of some of my ideas for Education, however I have decided that it would be better to see what ideas are flowing from your minds (and any others who attend, rather than simply imposing my ideas on you all). So this will be an "Open Forum", and a getting to know one another session - with some brainstorming for ideas.
I hope to gather plenty of ideas at this meeting, and afterwards draw up plans for each agreed project and then delegate the tasks!!
There is only one thing that I will place on the "agenda", and that will be the issue of the IVPF Worldwide database of information - the construction of which I see as essential to enable all IVPF committees to make better use of resources already available to us. I have sent a draft of my work already undertaken on this to the Executive Committee.
Rules of meeting:
- I will chair the meeting.
- I then propose to invite every person attending to briefly introduce themselves.
- Then I will invite everyone attending to set out any ideas they may have.
- I will then, in turn, invite your submissions in a strict time frame (on each others ideas) and then move on to the next attendee and their ideas/subject(s).
- I hope that there will be time for chatting after the meeting is closed, so please do not use the meeting online time with chatter [though you are welcome to "talk" to each other offline via private instant messenger services].
If there is anything you wish to raise with me in advance of the meeting please feel free to contact me. Thank you in advance for your support and I look forward to seeing you all on Sunday.
Yours ever
Daren Samat
