The International Cesarean Awareness Network, Inc. is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to improve maternal-child health by preventing unnecessary cesareans through education, providing support for cesarean recovery, and promoting Vaginal Birth After Cesarean (VBAC).
In addition to this group, ICAN of Chicago offers supportive meetings the second Sunday of each month. They take place at 7pm at Mother Me Inc.(http://www.mothermeinc.com/index.html), 3717 N. Ravenswood Suite 213, Chicago, IL 60613. For more information please email icanofchicago@yahoo.com.
This is a no flaming area - strictly enforced. All topics within the subject of birth are welcome, and all participants are asked to treat each other with respect. A new member to the list must respond to the list owner with an introduction before approval will be granted to join the list.
