Postdoctoral Position - Division of Nephrology and Hypertension

Summary
Investigator: Jinghua Hu, Ph.D. Assistant Professor
One or two postdoctoral positions are open for the newly established laboratory. Our lab uses Caenorhabditis elegans as a model to focus on understanding the molecular mechanisms of cilia biogenesis, cilia function, and human cilia-related diseases. A multidisciplinary approach that integrates genetics, molecular biology, biochemistry, behavior, and microscopy is used to address our research objectives. The postdoctoral fellow(s) will join several ongoing efforts to define polycystin functions, ciliary localization, and cilia biogenesis. A Ph.D. in genetics, biology, biochemistry or equivalent is required. C. elegans background is not necessary.
