Description
The Division of Liver Diseases at the Mount Sinai Hospital employs 10 full-time Hepatologists as faculty, and works closely with the Recanati/Miller
Transplantation Institute at Mount Sinai. We are currently searching for a physician/scientist with a special interest in hepatic immunology. The
candidate is offered a position at the Mount Sinai Medical Center or in an affiliated institution to perform research in hepatic immunology, with
potential for appointment to tenure track faculty, in which she/he is expected to combine laboratory research with patient based investigation into the immunology of viral hepatitis and/or liver transplant graft rejection.
The candidate must have an MD or MD/PhD with a strong background in laboratory based sciences, preferably in the area of immunology. In
addition she/he must be eligible for GI Boards and licensure in New York State after completion of fellowship. Initially a salary in the range
of $50-70,000 with full benefits will be offered commensurate with the candidate's level of training and qualifications, and with his/her academic faculty rank.
