I had worked my way up to 2.5 grains and 50mcg of synthroid. As a matter of fact, I was also on 25mg cortisol, not 20mg. I just lowered it today....

Sounds to me like you simply ht ti period where the added thyroid meds are completely suppressing your own thyroid, you need more Armour and possibly to drop...
