Hi, Chris,

Snowgirl from RTH here:

http://forums.realthyroidhelp.com/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=7248

I started Cortef last month and I have a few questions about that
process. I ramped up to 25 mg over a couple of weeks, and I've been
at 25 mg for two weeks now, dosed 10/7.5/5/2.5. I'm dosing mainly
on how I feel plus tracking pulse and weight – I'm not using temp
readings because my baseline temps were much higher than they were
supposed to be.

The improvement in my energy is significant, but I'm noticing a few
things I'm curious about.

First off, if I sleep poorly, the HC helps me function much better
than before, but I still need a nap. If I sleep well, however, I
feel VERY energetic, sometimes to the point of feeling slightly
speedy. It's been so long since I've had any kind of energy,
however, I'm not at all certain what "normal" energy feels like. Do
you have any comments on this?

Also, the last few days I've noticed a slight soreness in the glands
on either side of my throat when I swallow. It's minor and I don't
feel like I'm getting sick, but I'm curious if that means anything.

Lastly, the plan from here is to stabilize the HC for another 3
weeks and then start Armour. Given how much better I feel on HC,
what additional improvements should I expect from taking Armour? Is
there any good way to gauge Armour optimization other than temps?

Thanks again for all your help.
